Discover Niger
Two thirds Saharan, Niger hides some of the most beautiful landscapes on the continent: the Aïr Mountains, the Ténéré Desert, the old town of Agadez. In the southwest, the Niger River and its farmed banks support most of the population. The security situation makes travel very difficult today.
Most governments now strongly advise against all travel to Niger. Check the travel advice of your own government and of France Diplomatie (the French foreign ministry's travel advice) before making any plans.
