Christmas is a public holiday in the Central African Republic, as are Easter Monday, Ascension Day, Whit Monday, Assumption Day and All Saints' Day. The French foreign ministry advises against all travel to the country, except Bangui and Bimbo, where it advises against travel unless essential. Check your own government's travel advice as well.
